ROBYN ZWILINSKE

Preschool Director

Married to my husband, Joe, since 2005, we are originally from New York City, moving to Mooresville in 2010 and love the life we have here. It is a great place to raise a family. We have 2 daughters, 13 & 19. Our youngest attended The Bridge Academy from age 2 to graduating at the age of 5. We have 2 dogs, Ginger and Ella. One of my favorite hobbies is reading. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my daughters play softball and basketball.

I have been in the education field since 1999 and serving with the preschool since 2011.
I have 26+ years experience and training in Early Childhood education and Childhood Psychology.
I am called to serve here to plant seeds spiritually and academically. I enjoy watching the preschoolers learn about Jesus and grow on a daily basis.

Diana Bucher

2's Class Teacher

Hello! My name is Diana and I am the 2's class teacher. This is my fifth year at The Bridge Academy and my seventh-year teaching preschool overall. I live in Troutman with my husband and two very active boys, ages 9 and 12. We moved to the area from Wilkesboro in 2020. Previously from Boone, I am a graduate of Appalachian State University.

In my free time I enjoy sports, reading, shopping and playing games with my family. I am very excited to be a part of The Bridge Academy team again this year. I look forward to getting to know the children, learning, growing, and sharing the love of Jesus with each of them.

Vayda Powell

2's Assistant Teacher

This year I am blessed to be the 2's assistant teacher at The Bridge Academy! My passion for teaching began when I became a mother, myself.

I have three beautiful sons. My two oldest graduated from The Bridge Academy and my youngest is in the 4's class! Born and raised in Mooresville, I absolutely love it here.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, drawing, and spending time with my family. I love children- and it fills my heart with joy to watch them learn and grow. As a believer in Jesus Christ, I feel blessed to have a relationship with Him.

Angela Eichorn

3's Class Teacher

My family and I moved to Mooresville in 2010 from Michigan. I have been married to my husband Mike for 23 years blessed with 3 children, one son and two daughters.

This is my fourth year at The Bridge Academy. Loving and teaching the children each day has brought me so much purpose and happiness. Teaching the children to Love Jesus, Love each other, Trust Jesus and Follow Jesus is worth every moment.

Melissa Geiger

3's Assistant Teacher

My name is Melissa Manriquez Geiger. I was born and raised in North Carolina. My husband and I will celebrate 21 years together this year. We have 4 children, two sons and two daughters. My youngest attended the Bridge Academy from ages 2-5.

We love to spend time with family & friends, travel, play sports, cook together, take pictures, and listen to music. I began as a volunteer with the preschool. I had the absolute best time with the children and enjoyed helping them learn and grow.

This will be my third year as the 3’s Teacher Assistant am so thankful for the opportunity to help Ms. Angie again this school year. I am looking forward to a wonderful and blessed school year!

Katy Youron

4's Class Teacher

I’m so excited to return to The Bridge Academy for the 2025-2026 school year as one of the 4's class teachers!!

I’m originally from West Palm beach Florida, and moved to Charlotte, NC in 1997. I attended Myers Park High School and graduated in 2005 and continued my education at CPCC. I landed my career in medical administration and have followed that path for 17 years.

My husband Chris and I currently reside in Huntersville, NC with our two boys, 5 and 2. Although I’ve been a part of “The Bridge Academy Family” for 7 years, I only recently began volunteering and sat on the Parent Board in the 2023/2024 school year. After being presented with the opportunity to become a part of a wonderful program, I decided to follow this new direction God is taking me in. I’m excited to teach the children and watch them grow academically and spiritually this school year!

Terry Hindes

4's Class Teacher

Originally from Illinois, I have lived in NC for 40 years & currently reside in Mooresville. I have been married to my husband, Chris, for 42 years. We have 3 sons & 8 wonderful grandchildren, 2 of which attended and graduated from The Bridge Academy.

In my spare time I enjoy going for walks, reading, working on puzzles, and spending time with my family.
The calling of my heart is to make a positive difference in each child’s life and share God’s love with them.

Gliny Sam

5's Class Teacher

Hello, my name is Gliny Sam and I am the teacher for the 5’s class. My family and I moved to the United States in 2005 from India. We moved to Mooresville in 2016. My husband and I have two boys, and we love traveling. I enjoy gardening and cooking.

I love ministering among children and have been involved in children’s ministry for many years. I am looking forward to working with my 5’s students and pray that they will have a wonderful learning experience this school year.

I have been with The Bridge Academy since 2018 and I am very excited to be a part of the nurturing and care our school provides towards the wholesome development of every child.

Cassie Copenhaver

Snack Coordinator and Preschool Assistant

I am very excited to be joining The Bridge Academy as the Snack Coordinator/Preschool Assistant this year!

My family and I moved to Mooresville 2 years ago from Savannah, GA. My Husband and I have been married for 10 years and have two boys 7 & 3. Our 7 year old graduated from The Bridge in 2024 and our 3 year old is currently attending!

In our free time, we love to be outside, watching racing & sports and playing games together!
I am grateful to have been a volunteer and member of The Parent Board for the last 2 years, as well! I look forward to growing with the school and all the children during this upcoming school year!

Tina Foskey

Substitute Teacher

My name is Tina Foskey. This will be my eighteenth year with The Bridge Academy. I enjoy watching the children get excited about learning and growing.

My family has been involved in various churches throughout the years. We have worked in bible school and served in various areas of leadership in those churches.

My husband and I attend The Bridge Church in Mooresville.
